It is with a heavy heart that we regrettably inform our clients of the loss of a wonderful doctor and family member, Dr. Jennifer Sordyl, who passed March 2016 after her battle with cancer. For ten years she has faithfully served the clients and patients of Wixom Family Pet Practice and is an integral part of each team members life.

From a young age she knew she wanted to be a veterinarian and it was our privilege to be able to watch her live her dream each day at the clinic. Her kindness, expertise and enthusiasm for veterinary medicine will never be forgotten.

Knowing the positive impact she has had on so many, her viewing and funeral arrangements have been listed below. Any thoughts and prayers for her family during this difficult time are greatly appreciated.

Dr. Jennifer Sordyl began working as a veterinarian at the Wixom practice 11 years ago, soon after graduating from Michigan State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006.

She knew from a young age that she wanted to be a veterinarian, and began volunteering at a local veterinary clinic while in high school to gain experience. Her passion for veterinary medicine continued through her undergraduate study (MSU Lyman Briggs) and veterinary school. Her particular areas of interest include internal medicine and cardiology. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her family (including her cocker spaniel, Millie Reba).

Rest in Peace Dr Sordyl, you will be greatly missed by all who you touched.
