Dr Julie Foster is a graduate from Michigan State University. She worked in Chicago at a small animal clinic for 3 years before moving back to Michigan to be closer to family. She worked at 2 different clinics before coming to join the Wixom Family Pet Practice in March 2015.

Dr Foster’s interests include pain management, dentistry, soft tissue surgery and preventative medicine. She enjoys working closely with clients and their pets to ensure the best outcome for each patient. She loves to educate clients and help them ensure a long, healthy life for their best friends. She attends continuing education courses yearly to keep up with the latest treatments for your pets.

Outside of the practice, Dr Foster enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids. She also has a 14 yr old cat, Satara, who has been with her since her second year of vet school ad loves bird watching, sleeping and beating up the dog. Her dog, Scrubs, is a 7 yr old Bernese Mountain Dog that still loves the cat no matter what, and is wonderful with the kids. Dr Foster likes to read, add projects to her pinterest to-do list, spend time outdoors and travel whenever she can.
