    Katherine Dyer,
    DVM
    Owner and Medical Supervisor

    Dr. Dyer has spent 20+ years as a doctor embracing the full diversity of veterinary medicine, practicing in small animal, large animal, exotic and emergency care. After years of experience came the desire to build a great hospital of her own: Lake Geneva Veterinary Hospital (now Family Pet Practice) was purchased in 2004, followed by Wixom Veterinary Clinic (now Wixom Family Pet Practice) in 2011. She has a strong dedication to all pets and the families who love them, as evidenced by her own multi-species family of 2 boys, dogs, cats, rabbits, horses and sheep. In her free time, you will find her outdoors, riding horses, kayaking, camping or SCUBA diving.

    Julie Foster,
    DVM
    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Foster went to Michigan State University for her undergraduate studiesand veterinary school. She graduated in 2005 and practiced in Chicago,Livonia and Clinton Township before joining Wixom Family Pet Practice. Shelives with her husband, 2 children and her Bernese Mountain Dog, Scrubs andblack cat, Satara. She enjoys traveling, reading, going up north with herfamily and crafting.

    Sarah Sewick

    Dr. Sewick is a Michigan native, but graduated from the University of Illinois, where she enjoyed working with opossums and turtles as a student in their Wildlife Medical Clinic. However, she counts herself lucky to work with dogs and cats every day. She and her husband, Paul, own two dogs, Gander and Memphis; two cats, Charlie and Contessa; and a box turtle named Frida. Dr. Sewick has experience working in emergency and rescue clinics, as well general practice. She prefers general practice, because she gets to develop relationships with her patients. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys sewing, baking, and hiking.

    Practice Administrator
    Found as you walk into the Zellweger home is a questionnaire filled out by Amy in grade school that reflects a career path in the veterinary community. Although it seemed to be written in the stars it would come together after years in the making that encompassed a multitude of positions and gaining expertise before taking on the role as Practice Administrator for Wixom and Waterford Family Pet Practice.

  • Maureen Pichner
    CSR

    From a young age Maureen knew that her multi-tasking ability, bubbly personality, attention to detail, and desire to learn and educate would secure her a place in the veterinary community. Her willingness and ability to learn new technical skills and further her education have been a benefit to all! She has a passion for obedience training, Dobermans and client communication. When not greeting you with a smile at WFPP, you can find her playing with her son at the park or camping with her family.

  • Ashley Squire
    VTA

    Growing up Ashley was lucky to be surrounded by animals. She grew up on a farm and loved spending her days outside with all of the animals. Her family had cows, pigs, ducks, geese chickens, rabbits and dogs. As a team member of WFPP Ashley loves being able to provide outstanding care for her clients and their companions, to live a long happy life. In Ashley's spare time she enjoys spending time with daughter Lillianna and her golden retriever Nala, taking long walks, playing fetch, gardening, crafting, and cooking.

     

  • Lisa Cisler
    (VTA)

    Lisa comes with over 30 years of animal experience. She enjoys working with animals but her true passion are cats - she is a feline fanatic! Her “low stress handling” will make your cats visit a pawsome experience. Another one of Lisa’s passions is educating owners on the many reasons not to declaw cats.

    When not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband, her cats, gardening and boating.

  • Andree Dawkins
    (LVT)

    Andree has always loved animals since she can remember. She got her first pet at 12 years old. She graduated from Sanford Brown College with a degree in Applied Sciences and obtained her Veterinary Technician License in 2013. When not working hard as an LVT, she loves cooking and trying new recipes, watching home renovation shows, and would love to renovate a home in the future!

  • Katie Oldford
    VTA
    Katie has been in the veterinary field for 13 years and has dedicated her talents to the pets, team, and families of WFPP for the past 6 years. Katie is a connoisseur of pure bred felines and is passionate about declaw education and awareness. In Katie's spare time you can find her gardening, fostering (below is Scrappy who is a “foster-fail”), or hiking in the woods. She also has an impressive fairy garden and raises her own succulents.

    Savannah is a hard worker, incredibly kind, and has an intuitive approach when it comes to pet communication and comfort. Savannah has known since a very young age that she wanted to help animals, as soon as she found herself active in the field she new she was right in pursuing veterinary medicine as her calling.
